Takota

Takota (meaning: “a friend to all”) is a cute blanketed Appaloosa, he is 12 years old, and 14.3 hands tall (that’s just 0.1 hand taller than a pony).  He is a trail riders dream, he’s got brains, comfort, and knowledge.  He’s safe for any level rider. You can point Takota up any trail or steep terrain he goes without hesitation, including to cross bridges and running rivers. He has seen all the wildlife the countryside has to offer, and he’s just about bombproof.  He has been used to check cows, overnight camping trips, and ties well on a picket line. We can trust Takota to take care of all levels of riders with is calm demeanor.

He has also been roped on out of the box, has been heeled and headed on live cattle, and he does great. He has been used to halter break colts. He has been down busy streets, and seen all the obstacles you could imagine. He is truly TRULY safe for the whole family and is an asset to have knowing he is very trustworthy. Takota is easy to saddle and can be ridden bareback without issue. Takota clips, ties, and bathes. He is the most uncomplicated horse to haul in a trailer, you need only ask him verbally to get in, and he does.  This horse is worth his weight in gold because of his calm and willing nature, he really is the complete package.
