Did you know beef contains all nine essential amino acids needed for the growth and maintenance of your body?

We largely rent our pasture to a local cowboy hero, Ray Carrasco.  Ray is a real cowboy.  You may catch a glimpse of him on his horse lassoing a young steer, sorting a herd, or administering medical attention.

We also purchase and raise our own “beef” and butcher them ourselves.  You will see a difference between our dairy cow, and the beef cows/ steers (usually unnamed… although Big Mac is a good name).  A dairy cow appears lean and spends most of its energy on milk production.  A beef is appears thick and spends most of its energy putting on weight.  Beef cattle are considered feral compared to a dairy cow.

The beefs on our pasture are mostly black angus.

Did you know? All beef cattle have eyes on the sides of their heads giving them a nearly 360-degree field of vision.  All beef cattle are ruminants, meaning, they can take something simple like grass and process it through their 4 stomachs into useful energy.

We like our beefs grass-raised and grass-finished.  They’re lean and healthy.  We do not use hormones or antibiotics.

We are on a quest to raise the MOST NUTRITIOUS food, with HAPPY and HEALTHY animals, and in a NATURAL and ORGANIC environment.
